A VIRTUAL CELEBRATION

On the occasion of OPERA America’s 50th anniversary in 2020, President/CEO Marc A. Scorca is visiting OA’s 16 founding member companies to celebrate a half-century of opera in America — virtually! The artistic strides of the industry over the last fifty years are thanks to the achievements of individual opera companies, administrators, artists and advocates in communities nationwide. This series of virtual presentations, generously supported by Bank of America, will highlight the contributions of the 16 founding member companies to this progress and how their achievements enrich the national opera landscape.
