Houston police have released surveillance video connected to the Laura Koppe Road fatal shooting that killed 36-year-old Floydrick Washington. Investigators want to question three men recorded shortly before the April 22 shooting.

The surveillance video shows three unidentified men at an apartment complex at 6767 Bennington. Investigators believe the footage captured them shortly before the fatal shooting.

HPD officers responded to a shooting call at 4200 Laura Koppe Road around 8:45 p.m. on April 22. They found Washington inside a vehicle with at least one gunshot wound.
Emergency personnel transported him to a Houston-area hospital. Doctors later pronounced him dead.
The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences identified the victim as Floydrick Washington, 36. HPD has not released additional information about what led to the shooting.
An initial HPD news release described the incident as isolated. At that stage, investigators reported no known suspects.
The newly released video gives detectives another potential source of information. Officers hope the three men can provide details about activity near the apartment complex or the shooting location.
