Trump Under Scrutiny as Epstein Letter Surfaces

Democrats on the House Oversight Committee released a birthday letter to Jeffrey Epstein that they say bears Donald Trump’s signature. The note, written inside the outline of a woman’s body, ends with a message about sharing a “wonderful secret.” Trump has denied writing it.

Trump Denies, Calls Letter Fake

Trump blasted the letter as a forgery, calling the Wall Street Journal’s earlier reporting “false and defamatory.” He has filed a $10 billion lawsuit against the paper, its parent company, and reporters. White House officials echoed Trump’s denial, insisting the signature is not his.

Renewed Push for Epstein Records

The letter’s release comes amid a bipartisan push in Congress for more transparency about Epstein’s connections. The Justice Department has maintained that no incriminating “client list” exists, but lawmakers and victims continue to demand access to sealed records.

Maxwell Weighs In

Epstein associate Ghislaine Maxwell, now serving a 20-year sentence, told investigators she didn’t recall Trump contributing to Epstein’s 2003 birthday book. She acknowledged helping compile it but said she could not remember who submitted letters.
