Heavy rainfall is expected to cause rises along rivers, streams, and bayous in Harris County. Localized street flooding is the main threat but high winds are also possible.

Motorists should exercise cautions – slow down and leave additional space between you and other vehicles. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways. If you must drive, remember: Turn Around Don’t Drown! Check the Houston TranStar live traffic map for information on road conditions.

HCOHSEM will provide updates via social media, Ready Harris Alerts and Ready Harris Accessible Alerts.
