Comedy star Dave Chappelle will return to Houston this fall for a major arena performance. The Dave Chappelle Houston 2026 show is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 28, at Toyota Center.
The Houston date is part of Chappelle’s newly announced Karmagedon fall arena tour. The limited run will visit seven cities across the United States and Canada.
Dave Chappelle Houston 2026 Ticket Information
General ticket sales begin Thursday, Sept. 17, at noon local time. Tickets will be available through Live Nation and Toyota Center’s official sales channels.
Citi cardholders will receive access to an earlier presale. That presale begins Tuesday, Sept. 15, at 10 a.m. local time.
Ticket prices were not immediately announced. Show time and information about possible opening performers were also unavailable with the initial announcement.
Fans should verify prices and ticket policies through authorized sellers. Tickets purchased through resale platforms may cost more than their original value.
Toyota Center is located at 1510 Polk Street in downtown Houston.
Houston Show Will Be Phone-Free
Chappelle’s Houston performance will use a phone-free format. Guests will place cellphones, smartwatches and other recording devices inside secured Yondr pouches upon entering the venue.
Audience members will keep their pouches during the show. Staff will unlock the devices when the performance ends.
Guests who need to use a phone during the event can visit designated areas inside the venue. Anyone caught using a device inside the performance space could be removed.
Phone-free policies have become a regular feature of Chappelle’s live appearances. The rules help prevent unauthorized recordings and keep unreleased comedy material from circulating online.
Guests should review Toyota Center’s complete entry policy before arriving. Allowing additional time for the device-locking process could also make entry easier.

Chappelle Returns After Sold-Out Houston Shows
Chappelle last performed in Houston in 2024 during the opening of Punch Line Houston. He joined Houston comedian Mo Amer for four sold-out shows at the downtown comedy club.
The comedian also maintained a busy performance schedule during summer 2026. His appearances included shows in Baltimore, Detroit, Cleveland, Chicago and San Diego.
He later returned to Yellow Springs, Ohio, for another edition of Dave Chappelle’s Summer Camp. The outdoor comedy event has become a recurring hometown production.
Chappelle is a six-time Grammy Award winner and five-time Emmy Award winner. He received the Mark Twain Prize for American Humor in 2019.
The Oct. 28 performance gives Houston audiences another opportunity to see Chappelle in a much larger setting. Tickets go on sale Sept. 17 at noon.
Fans planning to attend should prepare before ticket sales open and review the phone-free requirements in advance.
