You can rope a ride on METRO to Rodeo Houston and the World’s Championship Bar-B-Que Contest and leave your horseless buggy at home. From METRORail to local bus and shuttle services, there are several options to fit your schedule.
The Center Point work will impact the entire METRO-Rail Green and Purple lines from 9 p.m. until the end of regular service that day. The METRO shuttles will run every 12 minutes, but riders should allow for extra travel time.
Rides on METRORail and local bus are just $1.25. Children 5 years and under ride for free. Visitors who want quick access to the festivities can park one stop away from NRG Park at the Fannin South Transit Center for $20 (cash only). Everyone in your vehicle receives a round-trip rail ticket. Parking is plentiful along the METRORail lines. Fares can be paid by Q Mobile Ticketing, METRO Q® Fare Card, METRO Day Pass and cash.
Round-trip shuttle rides are available from Maxey Road and Monroe Park and Rides as well as the West Loop Transit Center for $4. Rides from the North Shepherd Park and Ride shuttle are $6.50. Trips from RIDE METRO TO RODEO HOUSTON
