‘One Battle After Another’ and ‘Hamnet’ Take Top Film Honors at 2026 Golden Globes

The 83rd Golden Globe Awards crowned “One Battle After Another” and “Hamnet” as the night’s top film winners, splitting the two most prestigious categories at Sunday’s ceremony.

The revolutionary saga “One Battle After Another” won best motion picture, musical or comedy, while literary drama “Hamnet” earned best motion picture, drama. “One Battle After Another” entered the night as the most-nominated film with nine nods.

Highlights From the Night

Comedian Nikki Glaser returned as host for a second consecutive year, leading what the Globes proudly bill as Hollywood’s “booziest bash” from the Beverly Hilton. The ceremony aired on CBS and streamed on Paramount+.

The first award of the night went to Teyana Taylor, who won best female supporting actor in a motion picture for her role in “One Battle After Another.”

Jessie Buckley won best actress in a drama for “Hamnet,” while Wagner Moura took best actor in a drama for “The Secret Agent.” In the comedy categories, Rose Byrne won best actress for “If I Had Legs, I’d Kick You,” and Timothée Chalamet earned best actor for “Marty Supreme.”

Top Television Winners

On the television side, “The Pitt” won best drama series, with Noah Wyle taking best actor in a drama. “The Studio” won best musical or comedy series, with Seth Rogen winning best actor in the category. Jean Smart earned best actress in a TV comedy for “Hacks.”

“Adolescence” dominated the limited series categories, winning best limited series and multiple acting awards, including Stephen Graham and Michelle Williams.
