Margaritaville Lake Resort Lake Conroe | Houston will welcome football season with Gameday in Paradise. The promotion combines college and professional games with poolside viewing, dining and resort perks.

The season-long event begins Saturday, Sept. 5, and continues through Sunday, Nov. 1. All outdoor activities remain subject to weather conditions.

Gameday in Paradise Creates a Poolside Sports Experience

Guests can watch selected games on the giant video wall overlooking the resort’s 5 o’Clock Somewhere Pool. The schedule will feature a rotating lineup of college and professional football matchups.

The resort developed the promotion after hosting World Cup watch events at the pool.

“After seeing how much our guests enjoyed watching the World Cup on the giant video board, we knew we had to bring that same energy into football season,” said Jonathan “Cookie” Adams, the resort’s recreation manager.

Adams said the program allows fans to support their teams while enjoying the water and resort amenities.

“With ‘Gameday in Paradise,’ fans can cheer on their favorite college or pro team while floating in the pool, sipping a cold drink and soaking up a resort-style game day experience,” Adams said.
